Job Description
- Track Projects from inception till completion through Project controls to maintain projects on track of deliverables’ target dates & completion with Local and regional impact on project stakeholders.
- Successfully Follow up the project’s delivery of the “Projects Control Department” and assess External Clientele potential opportunities.
- Coordinate with SCM (Supply Chain Management) Team for timely delivery of the projects procured items.
- Organize the “As Built Drawings” and the “O&M Manuals” for FM utilization by aligning internal processes to ensure compliance to ALJ’s SLA and Standards.
- Timely reporting of “Projects Progress” by monitoring the budget and setting the initial master plan.
- Report on time schedule to insure delivery on time and highlight any potential risks with recommendations on corrective actions.
- Request and review the Engineer’s Reports at regular intervals giving forecast of the final construction costs, including costs of variations and the cost implications of extension of time and forecast completion dates.
- Coordinate with our clients within the group and external on commercial issues like following up approvals of budgets, work orders and payments.
- Coordinate with project managers on budget control including approved payments, VO’s potential variations and claims.
- Schedule and visit the sites when necessary to generate regular progress reports and briefing from the project managers on progress and produce Monthly report on schedule, budget and any potential issues that need to be addressed by senior management.
- Coordinate with the Liaison Department & out-sourced consultants, ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety; to obtain permits on time.
- Advise the client on arrangements for handover of the project, and on taking possession of the project with recommendation from the engineer.
- Establish in coordination with the MD a centralized document Control system by selecting a suitable software that is capable of storing projects official Documents, correspondence with third parties, drawings and guarantees
- Measure actual project cost and time to be reported to higher management.
- Successful implementation of “Lean Design & Construction Management” as well as “Kaizen” principles across all operational projects & establishing an effective and efficient Communication Regime across stakeholders.
- Assist streamlining the Design stage by successfully introducing & implementing new tools to streamline internal processes, aligning internal processes to e-Applications & software (ACONEX).
Skills
- Knowledge in Construction & Development, Schedule & Planning, Cost Control.
- English language proficiency.
- B.Sc. Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architectural.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
- 3–5years’ experience in same field.
- Schedule & Planning, Cost control, and Management.
- Problems solving.

- Expert in Ms Office (MS Project), Primavera, AutoCAD and special software.
