As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the project planning and scheduling activities to ensure the successful execution of interior fit-out projects. Your expertise will contribute to the timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ol><li>Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resources required for successful project execution.</li><li>Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard project management tools. Monitor progress regularly and identify potential delays or deviations.</li><li>Resource Allocation: Coordinate with various teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to allocate resources efficiently and ensure timely project delivery.</li><li>Cost Estimation: Collaborate with the cost control team to estimate project costs accurately, ensuring that the project remains within budget constraints.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges during the planning phase and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.</li><li>Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and accomplishments.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards, maintaining the highest level of quality in all deliverables.</li><li>Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.</li><li>Change Management: Evaluate and manage any changes in project scope, schedule, or resources, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication with stakeholders.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future planning and execution processes.</li></ol><p>Requirements:</p><ol><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.</li><li>Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer in the UAE, specifically focusing on interior fit-out projects.</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and other relevant tools.</li><li>Knowledge: In-depth understanding of interior fit-out processes, materials, and techniques, as well as a good grasp of construction project management principles.</li><li>Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.</li><li>Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to anticipate project challenges and devise effective solutions.</li><li>Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.</li><li>Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment.</li></ol><li><br></li>
