Job Description
As a Planning Coordinator with Qatar Aircraft Catering Company, you will be responsible to execute all aspects of menu grid management required to maintain accurate and up-to-date Bill of Materials in Enterprise Resource Planning necessary for execution of efficient Material Requirement Planning and to facilitate proper costing of menus.<p><br></p>You will carry out daily and monthly ordering based on system generated forecast to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and optimal stock control.<p><br></p><u>To achieve success in this role you will need to:</u><p><br></p><ul><li>Managing raw material (food) item master data base and perform daily/periodic checks on item category, unit of measurement, packing size etc.</li><li>Analysis current data and collaborate in generating raw material forecast with various departments.</li><li>Advise Supply Chain team in generation of purchase orders and managing the inventory levels.</li><li>Familiarization of menu grids and estimation of raw material quantities.</li><li>Monitoring of safety stock levels by looking into supplier lead time, shipping models etc.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Be part of an extraordinary story</strong><p><br></p>Your skills. Together, everything is possible.<p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>An ideal candidate will meet below qualifications and experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree </li><li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience</li><li>Knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning system</li><li>Well versed in MS Office tools like excel, power point, word etc.</li><li>Familiarization of systems like SAP, JDE, Microsoft AX etc. (purchasing/planning module)</li><li>Ability of analyze data in bulk and in quick turnaround time.</li><li>Good communication skills, ability to coordinate individually with internal and external stakeholders</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>About Qatar Airways Group</u></strong><p><br></p>Our story started with four aircraft.
