<strong>Overview / Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p>Wood is looking for Piping Designer to join Iraq Team<p><br><br></p><ul><li> Create CADD designs/drawings from Engineering and Design sketches, mark-ups, go-bys and verbal instruction. Coordinate with other discipline designers to ensure verbally received information is communicated and clearly understood. </li><li> To provide support to a project in all aspects of piping design and layout </li><li> Support design Coordinator in maintaining budget and schedule when required </li><li> Perform a โself-checkโ of completed deliverables prior to being submitted for checking </li><li> Develop and maintain discipline project documentation and design data records </li><li> Track deliverable status, model progress, studies, co-ordination and any other design tasks not tied directly to deliverables. </li><li> Report on work status/ problem areas/ needs. Attend project model review meetings <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Minimum Two (2) to five (5) years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Two (2) years of college or technical school in a relevant discipline a plus. </li><li> Working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations. </li><li> Complete understanding of proper drawing organization and production </li><li> Strong ethical standards. High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work. </li><li> Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li> Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative. Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable. </li><li> Accountable for results.
