<p><strong><u>Bahraini’s Only</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>The primary responsibility of the Security System Engineer Manager is to ensure the continuous functionality of the access control systems, CCTV, and network operations to safeguard the company’s assets, people, and information against security threats, unauthorized access, and theft.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong>· Design, implement, and maintain security systems.</p><p>· Managing the technical teams and providing day-to-day plans, managing the preventive maintenance plan and backup process, managing the emergency, developing and optimizing the current system, and providing best international practices to improve the technical performance.</p><p>· Protect BNET assets from unauthorized access, theft, damage, or malicious activities.</p><p>· Working closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and software developers, to ensure that security measures are integrated into an organization’s infrastructure.</p><p>· Identifying potential security vulnerabilities in an organization’s infrastructure and developing mitigation strategies.</p><p>· Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.</p><p>· Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses and recommend improvements.</p><p>· Reports include details on the effectiveness of technical system performance.</p><p>· Designing and implementing access control systems to ensure only authorized users can access an organization’s network and data.</p><p>· Collaborating with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that security measures are integrated into an organization’s infrastructure.</p><p>· Reporting and providing regular updates to management on the status of systems performance, incidents, and vulnerabilities.</p><p>· Reports on the effectiveness of security controls, metrics on incident response times and resolution rates, and recommendations for improving system posture.</p><p>· Provide monthly reports to Batelco for maintenance, faults, and access.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience &amp; Education Requirements</strong></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, electronic engineering, or equivalent.</p><p>· Hands-on experience in GENETEC unified security platform.</p><p>· Professional certificates such as CCNA/CCNP.</p><p>· Minimum 5+ years in access control, CCTV, security system network, and control room operation and maintenance.</p><p>· Project management experience is a plus.</p><p><br></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Attributes</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p>· Security &amp; fire systems knowledge.</p><p>· Familiar with security and fire alarm management systems.</p><p>· Strong ability to work as a team player and acquire/share technical skills and competencies.</p><p>· Ability to Multitask.</p><p>· Ability to Work Independently.</p><p>· Good Communication Skills.</p><p>· Training Skills.</p><p>· Technical writing skills.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Working Conditions</strong></li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><ol><li>60% air-conditioned environment</li><li>40% outdoor activities</li></ol>
