At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.<p><br></p>Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented <strong><u>PTL Country Lead (OCONUS) </u></strong>to join our team in an OCONUS location.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>The Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) Deputy Country Lead (OCONUS) acts as the PTL Program representative in those embassies with assigned PTL Geospatial Tracking Specialists.</li><li>Coordinates directly with RSO staff for PTL operational support and coordinates with ESC/ESO for all PTL program-related matters.</li><li>The Country Lead is responsible for all required activity reports, scheduling, and supervisory responsibilities related to supporting the PTL mission at the assigned embassy.</li><li>Ensures all Geospatial Tracking Specialists assigned maintain level of technical proficiency required by program’s Global Watch Operations leader.</li><li>Must demonstrate exceptional expertise in the technical aspects of practical and sustainable life-safety programs for designated regions abroad.</li><li>Must be familiar with U.S. and host country laws, regulations, and policies governing the implementation of PTL and coordination with all associated departments, agencies, private contractors, and organizations mandated with national security.</li><li>Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of project professional, technical, and/or labor staff.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Basic Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience or combined education required.</li><li>The PTL Country Lead must demonstrate a mastery of technical skills and provide all levels of technical support for the PTL software, hardware, crypto, and satellite communications gear at their station.</li><li>Must be able to build out an entire PTL workstation from the factory boxes and can install a full PTL station anywhere in the world.</li><li>The GTS2 must have moderate technical skills (Microsoft products, PC basics, hardware basics); operational, operational support, or emergency management experience; and professional bearing, appearance, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Requires strong PTL software troubleshooting skills and operations support skills.</li><li>Must possess a mastery of PTL Tracking Devices (nomenclature, setup, troubleshooting); PTL tracking software; and PTL incident documentation.</li><li>This position requires attention to detail and ability to memorize and recite 6-character strings without fail; an understanding of Department of State Protective Operations; and an understanding of satellite technology.</li><li>Must have passed the Geospatial Tracking Specialist Level 3 exam.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>N/A</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Education Certification</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>N/A</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Security Clearance Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Must possess a current Top Secret clearance and be able to qualify for SCI access (SSBI less than 4.5 years old).</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Travel Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>This position is deployed up to 90% of the calendar year in high-threat areas, in multiple locations (not one specific area). </li><li>Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination. </li><li>May be required to spend several months in the Washington D.C. metro area for training and PTL support duties prior to departure to assigned overseas work location. </li><li>Must also be willing to serve in positions worldwide, which may include domestic assignments. </li><li> Overseas locations may be located in high-risk environments.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.</li><li>Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.</li></ul><p><br></p>For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
