People Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining company policies and procedures, through applying market leading HR practices including talent management, people operations, culture, comms and wellness, and maintaining a sufficient knowledge base for the concerned stakeholders. They will be dealing with numerous high-end technologies, interactions, and engagements with technical and business staff across departments alongside external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain company policies and procedures periodically.
  • Partake in planning and executing HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Track and further enable the staff’s career development objectives and practices.
  • Maintain and periodically enhance the company’s performance management procedures and tools.
  • Monitor and continuously grow the company’s incentive mechanisms and offerings.
  • Provide support to company staff with recurring and ad-hoc requests, processes, and queries.
  • Maintain and continuously improve practices, tools and incentives that enhances staff’s wellbeing and company’s physical and digital work environment.
  • Maintain, update and backup all HRM data sources of employee records and documents consistently.
  • Track OKRs and present periodic HR reports as required by management.
  • Liaison with relevant partners and stakeholders that aid in achieving unit objectives.
  • Stay up to date on HR domain knowledge and best market practices.
  • Suggest tools and resources that may increase the efficiency of the unit’s outputs.

Requirements

Preferred Certifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
  • The CIPD Diploma Level 3.

Preferred Business Skillset:

  • Deep knowledge across numerous HR functions.
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Full proficiency in government portals relevant to HR functions.
  • Experienced in HRM systems (preferably Zoho People).
  • Full proficiency in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with HR practices in IT sector.
