<strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Develop annual operating plan for production</li><li> Set production area performance standards and align organization</li><li> Leads problem solving activities for production. Coaches line managers and operators in process improvement</li><li> Consult with interdepartmental resources concerning problems which are affecting productivity, and take corrective action</li><li> Coach and build capabilities of line managers to convert objectives</li><li> Jointly develop with product availability resource (scheduler) the production schedule to meet weekly sales demand</li><li> Review and analyze production and downtime reports daily. Follow-up with appropriate resources to systematically eliminate sources of downtime</li><li> Lead the implementation of national and local initiatives for the production area (product, packaging, new technology … )</li><li> Utilize visual factory concepts to control and organize the work</li><li> Coaches and provides constant feedback for the development and improved performance of production personnel</li><li> Develop staffing and skill building plans for the production area that directly links to delivering yearly AOP. Work closely with HR for effective implementation</li><li> Conduct performance appraisal for the line managers and ensure it is done for the rest of the production area</li><li> Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and recommending for termination of production line personnel</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Engineering degree preferably in Mechanical/Industrial or Mechatronics field</li><li> 6 – 8 year experience in beverage and/or food industry</li><li> Good knowledge of production management and operations</li><li> Good communication skills in English and Arabic</li><li> Proficient with computer usage of excel, word and PowerPoint</li><li> Possess leadership abilities and the capability to deal with people at all levels of responsibility</li><li> Analytical approach to bring them into resolution</li><li> Drive for results</li></ul>
