Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Passenger Vehicles Service Manager to oversee and manage our automotive service department. As a Passenger Vehicles Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service center, maintaining customer satisfaction, and leading a team of service technicians. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the passenger vehicles service department.
  • Monitor and maintain service quality standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with customers to understand their vehicle service needs and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Schedule and prioritize service appointments and assign tasks to service technicians.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to service schedules, maximizing productivity and minimizing vehicle turnaround time.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with customers, providing updates on service progress and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Monitor and analyze service department performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, service completion time, and technician efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer service transactions, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Resolve customer complaints or disputes promptly and professionally, striving to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to ensure the service department remains competitive and up to date.
  • Recruit, train, and develop service technicians, providing coaching and guidance to foster a high-performing team.

Skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the same field, with at least 2 years of experience in the same position.
  • University degree in the same field or equivalent.
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address customer concerns and service-related challenges.
  • Ethical mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • In-depth knowledge of passenger vehicle service and repair procedures, including diagnostic techniques and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with automotive service software and systems for tracking service requests, inventory, and customer information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of projects and assignments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
