<p>The Ramez G. Chaghoury Faculty of Architecture, Arts, and Design Department of Design at Notre Dame University-Louaize, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for part-time faculty positions in Fashion Design. The application deadline is August 11, 2023.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>We are seeking dedicated individuals with a Master’s and/or Ph.D. in Fashion Design, showcasing a strong academic background and expertise in the field. Prior teaching experience is essential, as we value candidates who can effectively communicate and inspire students in the exciting realm of fashion design.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Courses Topics</strong></p><p>Successful applicants will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of courses within the Fashion Design curriculum. The courses include:</p><p> </p><p><strong>1. Patternmaking I – FTP 228 and FTP 328</strong></p><p>This course delves into the foundational principles of patternmaking, equipping students with the essential techniques and skills to create basic garment patterns.</p><p> </p><p><strong>2. Fashion Studio – FTP 315 and FTP 325</strong></p><p>Engage with students in this studio-based course, where they will immerse themselves in hands-on design projects, fostering creativity and honing their skills in fashion design.</p><p> </p><p><strong>3. Fashion Illustration – FTP 212</strong></p><p>Teach the art of fashion illustration, empowering students to visually express their design concepts with precision and artistic flair.</p><p> </p><p><strong>4.
