Organizational:

– Follows all relevant Group policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
– Operates within the strategic direction of the legal department, ensuring appropriate service levels are maintained and effective support and guidance is provided to the business

Operational:

– Support with accurate, high quality and timely legal advice on a variety of legal topics, including those of a complex nature with limited to no supervision to the Group and its partners
– Support with an up-to-date dossier for all entities under the assigned vertical, maintaining registration/incorporation documents, legal correspondence and commercial agreements and shall be responsible for all corporate governance and legal compliance matters related to these entities;
– Support with drafting and negotiating a wide variety of corporate documents, commercial agreements and legal correspondences;
– Support in contract models and templates as necessary;
– Research, analyze and convey timely updates on the development of legal and policy environments that would have an impact on the Group’s business
– Identify new areas for compliance and support the Legal Leadership team to develop the Group’s compliance policies and procedures
– Liaise with government officials, business divisions, external law offices, brand principles, JV companies and management on various legal matters
– Support and draft all corporate by-laws, resolutions, and minutes;
– Support routine administrative tasks including filing records and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
