Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Read specifications or receive instructions from supervisors or production engineers to determine work requirements.
• Knowledge and skills in various safe and efficient methods of application of protective coatings using Airless spray painting, Roller brush painting & Controlled Air
• Knowledge of Surface preparation methods using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, and/or sanding machines.
• Knowledge of coatings such as inorganic zincs, epoxy coatings, polyurethane finishes, AESS Finishes, water-based paints
• Coatings and other finishes to the Steel structure components, Heavy equipment, piping, equipment, tanks, and/or other structures,
• Knowledge of paint mixing propositions, tool cleaning methods, Surface covering with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect unwanted surfaces during painting operations.
• Knowledge to identify equipment problems, cleaning, repair and reassemble spray guns, hose, breathing hoods, paint pots, and agitator.
• Knowledge about the safety precautions needed when working at extreme heights, such as harnesses and steel anchors.
• Should be willing to perform additional duties as assigned

Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills:

•   Qualifications: High school degree/ Diploma
•   Experience: 2+ years in the same field. structural painting experience
