<p>Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA</p><p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</p><p>As a part of the Oracle implementation team, the candidate will be Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security:</p><p> Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades</p><p> Applying patches and upgrades to latest release R12</p><p> Cloning production to test environment</p><p> Fine tuning, Space management, Data security, Schema management, Fault management, Diagnostic assessment of the Oracle Databases</p><p> Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater the user requirement</p><p> <strong>Technology Stack and Tools support for iAS, Forms, Reports and Discoverer</strong></p><p> Routine maintenance activities, system monitoring and proactive health check on a daily basis</p><p> Manage and Configure Oracle Database RAC environment</p><p> Raising and follow up Service Requests through Oracle Metalink</p><p> <strong>Design and Develop backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and other backup tools</strong>.</p><p>Skills required:</p><p> Oracle Apps DBA and Core DBA.</p><p> Very good knowledge in Networking &amp; troubleshooting.</p><p> Experience in Oracle Apps Administration.</p><p> Oracle RAC environment.</p><p> Knowledge in Data Guard for primary and disaster recover site.</p><p> <strong>Experience in Backup &amp; Recovery procedures.</strong></p><p><strong> Experience in Unix System Administration Sun Solaris and Linux.</strong></p><p><strong> Experience in Upgrading Oracle Apps from 11i to R12 and Database to latest release.</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p> Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Computer Engineer.</p><p> Oracle certifications on Administration.</p><p>Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience</p><p><strong><u>Note: Immediate joiners who are willing to relocate and settle in Kuwait will be given preference.</u></strong></p>
