<p><strong>Role Purpose: </strong>Responsible for examining vision, diagnosing sight problems, prescribing contact lenses and eyeglasses.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main Accountabilities: </strong>Eye test, Contact lenses fitting</p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li> Examine eyes, using observation, instruments to determine visual acuity and perception</li><li> Conduct vision testing on clinic patients</li><li> Prescribe and fit vision aides such as contact lenses and eyeglasses</li><li> Analyze test results and develop a treatment plan</li><li> Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene and safety factors.</li><li> Maintain the clinic instruments</li><li> Support staff in order to optimize quality clinical care and service</li><li> Contact lenses fitting</li><li> Contributes in sales activity </li></ol><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Specifications:</strong></p><ol><li>Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry.</li><li>Experience Requirements: 2-5 Years’ experience in Optical Shops.</li><li>Good command on English and Arabic.</li><li>Licensed as Optometrist from SCFHS &amp; MOH.</li><li>Job location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>Other Skills &amp; Abilities: </strong></p><ol><li> Skill in researching, compiling, and summarizing statistical data and information.</li><li> Excellent Customer Service.</li><li> Problem solving and decision-making capacities</li><li> Ability to work independently and in a team.</li><li> Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills</li><li> Knowledgeable with the latest clinical instruments in the field.</li><li> Having worked on Hard contact lenses is an advantage for the candidate.</li></ol><p></p>
