<p><u>DESCRIPTION</u></p><p>Contributes to Proof of Concepts (POCs), implementations, and focus on enhancing the setup of our Screening Solution and False Positive Reduction improvements.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></p><p>The following are the responsibilities and tasks that you will be carrying out for the company if you are hired:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Apply data analytics tools and techniques to identify opportunities for optimizing our screening systems.</li><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of the screening solution and establish tuning rules to minimize false positives generated by the screening system.</li><li>Collaborate with the consultant Lead to implement the tuning framework, aiming to reduce false positives during the screening process.</li><li>Perform data analysis using historical data to determine strategies to improve screening output.</li><li>Evaluate existing systems and controls related to screening to assess their operational performance and effectiveness.</li><li>Perform analysis and adjustments as part of the process to meet success criteria agreed with clients.</li><li>Analyze transaction types, lists, and matching algorithms to enhance screening accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with the Technical Consultant/Project Team to define customized reporting requirements that facilitate ongoing tuning processes.</li><li>Collaborate with the wider delivery team and external partners to overcome obstacles and ensure timely completion of POCs and integration.</li><li>Identify process improvements to streamline and standardize the POC and implementation process.</li><li>Run a Functional Testing for newly introduced processes and rules.</li><li>Respond to customers’ requests for information.</li><li>Engage in technical discussions with clients.</li><li>Understand the product and the business behind those products.</li><li>Participate in creation of analysis documentation.</li><li>Analyze Business Requirements.</li><li>Discuss business requirements with the technical team and advise on the implementation approach when needed.</li><li>Maintains the security of Eastnets information, devices, and systems used by its employees, customers, and partners.</li><li>Protects EastNets business information and any customer, supplier or partner information within its custody by safeguarding its confidentiality, integrity and availability.</li><li>Adheres to and complying with EastNets internal security policies, Code of Ethics, Non-Disclosure Policy, Non-Compete Policy, Email Policy, Proprietary Rights Acknowledgement, Background check Policy, and all other internal policies and employee handbook.</li><li>Participate in company’ wide initiatives.</li><li>Perform work duties assigned by the manager.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u>REQUIREMENTS</u></p><p>For this role, you should have the following qualifications/requirements:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in technology (MIS, IT, Software Development), or an equivalent combination of Education and technical/professional experience.</li><li>3- 5 years of experience.</li><li>Experience in an analytical role, preferably within a similar industry.</li><li>Proven track record of tuning analysis.</li><li>Extensive experience in data and risk analytics.</li><li>Proficiency in configuring and validating transaction screening solutions.</li><li>Ability to analyze information, identify trends and patterns, and present concise summaries of results.</li><li>Strong background in statistical modeling and analysis techniques, such as regression analysis, multivariate analysis, factor analysis, and clustering.</li><li>Proficiency in batch scripting, power shell, CMD, Linux shell, SQL scripting, and working with SQL databases.</li><li>Experience in analyzing data in payments platforms, including SWIFT, ISO20022, and similar systems.</li><li>Familiarity with XML data structures and JSON data formats.</li><li>Proficiency in using collaboration tools like Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Experience working effectively in a distributed team environment.</li><li>Experience with systems integration (such as API and queuing systems) and file format (such as XML, JSON, XSD, CSV, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge in programming languages (JAVA).</li><li>Business requirement analysis (functional and non-functional).</li><li>Good understanding of software security principles.</li><li>Communication protocol and networking.</li><li>Programming Relational database (oracle or MSQL), (scripts SQL and PLSQL).</li><li>Experience with multi-operating systems (WIN, Linux, AIX, oracle Solaris).</li><li>Reporting and Business Intelligence tools.</li><li>AI and machine learning knowledge is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communications and presentation Skills.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding for the products and services provided by the company and full awareness of strengths for better positioning of products and services.</li><li>Articulate a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business needs.</li><li>Tasks management skills to be able to harmonize between all stakeholders for getting the proper results.</li><li>Evaluate knowledge of clients and determine additional strategies and resources needed.</li><li>Knowledge in AML, Compliance, Financial Crime and Payment Solutions is a big plus.</li><li>Knowledge in SWIFT and SEPA is a plus.</li><li>Strong technical background.</li><li>Strong English Command (French is a plus)</li></ul>
