Job Description
Objectives:
- Coordinate and track courier activities to ensure dispatching can run as planned.
- Assemble a team allowing the department to operate as efficiently and with the highest professionalism and quality possible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and support daily operations duties.
- Follow up da day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate and track courier activities to ensure dispatching can continue to run as planned. With team drivers, ensuring loads assigned are appropriate for teams and hours available.
- Assign work to staff to support the workflow and daily metrics.
- Assist with training new couriers or coordinators to ensure they have the proper knowledge to carry out the required tasks.
- Monitor sales and work toward meeting quarterly objectives and success rate.
- Minimize cost and labor by reviewing schedules and inventory use.
- Support the Operations Manager(s) by ensuring sufficient resourcing for the function, including callouts for training needs, absence, performance management, coaching, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.
- Offer consultation and recommendations to managers on overcoming operations challenges.
- Follow up with the financial department and operation managers to periodically hand over hub commissions and cash collections.
- Follow the payment request procedures, whether refund or commission, with the accounting department to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- +3 years of industry-relevant experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiar with data entry systems.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
- Good analytical l skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Time management skill.
- Highly Motivated and Confident; high self-awareness.
- Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills, a strong customer focus, and outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
