<p>As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution processes. You will oversee a team responsible for receiving, storing, packaging, and delivering fresh fruits and vegetables to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and freshness.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and implement efficient operational strategies and processes to optimize the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables.</li><li>Lead and manage a team of warehouse and delivery personnel, ensuring clear communication, training, and performance management.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, growers, and farmers to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of high-quality fresh produce.</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.</li><li>Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.</li><li>Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.</li><li>Continuously analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.</li><li>Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities, equipment, and vehicles.</li><li>Liaise with transportation providers to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time deliveries.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fresh produce distribution.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>Proven experience in operations management within the fresh food industry, preferably in fresh fruits and vegetables distribution.</li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.</li><li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.</li><li>Sound knowledge of inventory management, supply chain logistics, and warehouse operations.</li><li>Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.</li><li>Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Join our dynamic and growing team to contribute to the distribution of fresh and healthy food to our valued customers.
