<p>We’re looking for an ambitious and driven restaurant manager to hit the ground and take charge of our growing team. The successful candidate will work to ensure our new restaurant runs while upholding our excellent quality customer service.</p><p><br></p><p>The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth flow</li><li>Maintain a positive restaurant culture</li><li>Create work schedules that align with the restaurant’s needs</li><li>Ensure proper compliance with restaurant hygiene regulations</li><li>Train new employees to help them meet the restaurant’s expectations</li><li>Interact with diners and build positive rapport with different types of people</li><li>Manage and keep up smooth restaurant operations</li><li>Supervise both kitchen staff and waitstaff, providing necessary feedback</li><li>Write daily budget reports on both revenue and costs</li><li>Communicate with diners and mitigate potential conflicts</li><li>Organize and take stock of restaurant supplies</li><li>Be able to work on POS system.</li><li><span>Managing inventory and ordering supplies</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Pre-Opening Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare procurement planning according to the restaurant’s vision and menu plans ahead and ensure consistency in quality of product at all times.</li><li><span>Follow pre-opening checklist and guidance to allow a smooth opening operations.</span></li><li>Prepare, execute and conclude all the necessary SOP’s ready for the restaurant operations&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Finance</strong></p><ul><li><span>Require commercial awareness and acute financial management skills. They work closely with the restaurant owner (or in some cases are the owner) to forecast the financial budget, set periodic sales targets and manage the profit and loss statement (P&amp;L). </span>Consistently monitor food &amp; beverage and labour costs to remain within budgets and to maximize the revenue</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Hiring &amp; Staff Training </strong></p><ul><li>Employ and educate all staff for optimal restaurant operations, including:&nbsp;<strong>Front Of House&nbsp;</strong><span>(FOH) – host, maitress’/head waiter, waiters/servers, sommelier, bar staff,&nbsp;runner, busser</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Roasting Staff</strong></p><p><span>Must balance between ensuring the restaurant is probably staffed to meet customer demand while maintaining reasonable labour costs that maximise profitability. Efficiently scheduling rosters or shifts means managing employees and aligning with their availability, assigning roles that play to their strengths and experience, while being adaptable to the businesses changing needs and staff leave. High organisational skills, knowledge of all jobs within the restaurant and flexibility to switch between these roles during peak times or breaks are nee</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Customer Satisfaction</strong></p><p><span>Brings a high level of communication skills, problem-solving skills and excellent customer service skills to the table to ensure the ultimate in guest satisfaction. Memorable and pleasant dining experiences extend across all contact point</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Planning Menu, Pricing and Maintain Food Quality</strong></p><p>Maintains the operations of the business, they set the direction, financial and supply limitations for the restaurant menu. Designed in collaboration with the head chef, the restaurant manager will research and plan food and beverage menus.&nbsp;They will develop a menu pricing strategy to optimise supply costs and adjust as required to maximise profit.&nbsp;Whilst also meeting the needs and monitory standards of supply, food quality and presentation.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Proven work experience to all of the above <strong>is a MUST</strong></li><li>Pre-opening / proven experience <strong>should be presented.</strong></li><li>4+ years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Outstanding leadership and management abilities.</li><li>A strong focus on customer service.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficient time management.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Good organizing skills.</li><li>Knowledge of safe food handling practices and other restaurant regulations.</li><li>Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable programs.</li><li>Commercial awareness</li><li>Flexibility</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Effective problem-solving skills</li><li>Teamwork and organizational skill</li><li>Comfort working with multiple groups within business</li></ul>
