Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading manufacturing operations and all related activities. Planning, organizing and directing manufacturing operations. Effectively planning and organizing to ensure proper manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establishing management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive involvement.
• Continually improving safety record by addressing both physical issues and employee safety attitude.
• Coordinating all subcontractors and personnel on-site and closely working with the client on a daily basis.
• Setting out manufacturing/equipment need for general joinery process.
• Ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are implemented and that the budget is followed in terms of purchases and wages.
• Outstanding track record of fostering close working relations with organisations within the operational community.
• Organising workers and ensuring that they are performing as required while conducting regular site inspection.
• Coordinating with subcontractors on-site and maintaining close liaison with the client
• Successfully completing projects on time and within budget while ensuring that stipulated safety rules and regulations were met.
• Responsible for coordination with setting out lines to ensure all dimensions are accurate for site construction.
• Developing and maintaining productive client relationships
• Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
