Job Description

<ul><li>Design and deliver competency-based training courses, training assessments, workplace;</li><li>learning material and knowledge tests and advise line departments on development and corrective action plans;</li><li>Reports to Trainee &amp; Competency Lead;</li><li>Internal :</li><li>Regular contact with supervisors from other assets;</li><li>Periodic contact with Learning and Development (L&amp;D) training coordinators;</li><li>External :</li><li>Occasional contact with vendors and 3rd party services providers</li><li>Design, develop, teach advanced level theory, and practice, and assess using various learning methodologies;</li><li>Work organization and environment has complexities of a multicultural, multi-national and multi venture environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Tasks</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Designs, develops, teaches advanced level theory and practice and assesses competencies using various learning methodologies in an assigned technical subject area, role plays, simulations, technology-delivered training, and workplace learning or e-learning;</li><li>Analyses the knowledge and skills gap in alignment of OJT (On Job Training) programs matrix and design learning materials to meet individual needs, in coordination with Line supervision;</li><li>Designs and develops simulator training and assessments or source appropriate test materials where necessary; Evaluate learner performance and prepare reports of progress;</li><li>Designs and develops Process and Technical Unit training and Procedure;</li><li>Competency Assessments or source appropriate test materials where necessary;</li><li>Recommends learning solutions with course curriculum and responds to feedback from learners and makes adjustments or enhancements to the learning solution based on feedback;</li><li>Develops operations process scenarios and modify lesson plans and learning materials and use instructional methods and media effectively;</li><li>Liaises with Simulator Engineer and Training Coordinator to develop the operations process scenarios to maintain Operator Training Simulator Hardware and perform OTS software housekeeping;</li><li>Maintains and follow-ups trainee records including attendance and assessment results in LSO (SAP Learning Solutions); Communicate feedback reports for Training Coordinator on trainee progress;</li><li>Ensures operations process safety standards are implemented and followed;</li><li>Ensures recommendations and enhancements regarding effectiveness of training resources are implemented.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Your Profile</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>HND in Engineering or equivalent;</li><li>6 years’ experience oil and gas industry, including 2 years as an instructor;</li><li>Experience in plant process, production equipment and understanding of basic DCS process control systems;</li><li>Experience in procedure development, analysis, and plant Operations and Maintenance;</li><li>Well-developed organizational and communication skills;</li><li>Proficient in written and spoken English with high-level presentation skills;</li><li>Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) including Learning Management Systems;</li><li>Sound skills as a facilitator and proven ability to conduct training sessions.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Our Offer</strong><p><br></p>Salary:<p><br></p>Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance<p><br></p>Work Schedule:<p><br></p>9 Hours / 6 Days<p><br></p>Duration:<p><br></p>Three (3) Years with possible extension<p><br></p>Location:<p><br></p>Qatar
