The People and Office Manager will be responsible for our onsite office in Dubai and will work closely with local and global leadership in delivering key people objectives.<p><br></p>The role requires collaborating with local vendors and cross functional teams to deliver high quality and timely solutions to our employees. The role will need you to act as a trusted expert in areas of local labor law compliance and industry best practices.<p><br></p>This role gives you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the day to day lives of our team members and enhance employee experience and engagement in a fast paced and high learning environment.<p><br></p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Taking lead in all aspects of workforce administration, including but not limited to, on-boarding, off-boarding, relocation, background checks, medical insurance, visa process, document management etc. </li><li>Work with the global recruitment team to create an deliver engaging recruitment process </li><li>Work with he global people ops team to accurately maintain employee data on the HRIS system </li><li>Guide employees on various people policies and help people managers navigate any queries around the same </li><li>Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and processes to maintain compliance </li><li>Coordinate with local vendors and government agencies for visa and labor compliance related process and queries </li><li>Creating and setting budgets for ongoing office and facility needs </li><li>On-board the right vendors partners for smooth running and maintenance of the facility </li><li>Coordinate with building management to ensure a safe and clean working environment </li><li>Coordinate with the regional IT team to ensure IT assets (laptops, routers, access points, etc) are procured and maintained on time </li><li>Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, furniture, appliances and electronics as required </li></ul> <strong>You Will Succeed In This Role If You Have</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Good understanding of the local labor and compliance requirements </li><li>Experience of handling office management responsibilities </li><li>Bias for action, execution focused and target driven </li><li>Good networking and negotiation skills </li><li>Strong work ethics, high accountability and ownership of work </li><li>Ability to solve problems, work autonomously and provide timely and effective solutions</li></ul>
