We are looking for individuals who can support operational responsibilities…<br><br>Amentum is actively seeking qualified candidates to contribute to the vital mission of the Linguist Intelligence Operations National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC), DIA. We are looking for individuals who can support operational responsibilities, providing foreign language and documents as well as translation services.<br><br>The<strong> OCONUS Linguist Team Lead</strong> reviews/exploits, provides accurate translations and transcriptions of documents and digital media to identify, extract, exploit and disseminate relevant intelligence information in response to customer and intelligence requirements.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities include but not limited to:<br></strong><ul><li>Perform Quality Control (QC) level as translations may directly support sensitive mission operations and briefings for seniors</li><li>Perform translation of technical and non-technical materials, write and speak in clear concise manner from target language to English and vice versa and provide cultural and ethnic context of translation</li><li>Knowledgeable in DOMEX, translation services, intelligence analysis and dissemination are desired but not mandatory. Select linguist(s) will be able to perform workflow tasks and have advanced knowledge of Harmony database</li><li>Advanced knowledge of TED database. </li><li>Assist with DOMEX data acquisition, device downloads, triage and/or posting of data to national databases position will provide Operations Support to the DOMEX effort<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements:<br></strong><ul><li>Active Top Secret/SCI clearance</li><li>Basic familiarity and understanding of multiple types of computer, audio and video storage mediums is helpful </li><li>OCONUS Linguists should have a minimum of general professional proficiency (3) in the foreign language and a minimum of general professional proficiency (3+) in English<br><br></li></ul><strong>NMEC primary languages:<br></strong><ul><li>Arabic</li><li>Pashto</li><li>Dari</li><li>Urdu</li><li>Punjabi</li><li>French</li><li>Persian-Farsi</li><li> Russian</li><li>Kurdish</li><li>Turkish</li><li>Uzbek</li><li>Tajik</li><li>Azeri</li><li>Uighur</li><li>Chechen</li><li>Serbo-Croatian</li><li>Albanian</li><li>Korean</li><li>Chinese</li><li>Ukrainian</li><li>Spanish</li><li>Portuguese</li><li>German</li><li>Somali</li><li>Hausa</li><li>Swahili</li><li>Bengali</li><li>Indonesian</li><li>Malay</li><li>Tagalog<br><br></li></ul>#NMEC<br><br>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
