Job Description
<strong>Responsibilities</strong> :<p><br></p><ul><li>Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade networks.</li><li>Keep an eye out for needed updates.</li><li>Support and administer third-party applications.</li><li>Ensure network security and connectivity.</li><li>Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.</li><li>Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.</li><li>Resolve problems reported by end user.</li><li>Define network policies and procedures.</li><li>Specify network requirements and design solution.</li><li>Effective communication skills.</li><li>Installing and configuring Cisco Switches L2.</li><li>Installing and configuring FWs.</li><li>Administrating the FWs and security polices.</li><li>Monitoring Network and provide daily reports.</li><li>Configuring ADSL,SDSL Lines and Wireless access point on different sites.</li><li>Real experience with ticket and service management systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications :</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience from 3 to 5 years</li><li>Proven experience in a network security administrator role</li><li>Hands-on experience in networking, routing, switching and security</li><li>Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure</li><li>Experience with different vendors of firewalls, Internet VPNâs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired</li><li>Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking</li><li>Having an entry-level certificate in networking like CCNA, CCNA Security, JNCIA , are a must and CCNP routing and switching, security or is highly preferred.</li><li>BSc degree in Computer Science or related field</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills.</li><li>Above average knowledge of all versions of the Windows Operating System.</li><li>Above average knowledge of networking protocols, especially TCP/IP.</li><li>Able to manage multiple projects efficiently, maintain strict confidentiality, function in a dynamic environment, handle stress and high levels of responsibility, and work well in a team environment.</li><li>Experience in corporate networks, specifically networks that span multiple subnets.</li><li>Experience in supporting clients on a corporate network; specifically support involving Switches, Subnets, Routers, VLAN’s, DNS, Network Shares, Network Storage, File/Print services, Directory Services, Etc. is preferred.</li><li>Experience with personal computer and server hardware and able to perform troubleshooting is preferred.</li><li>Experience with Wireshark software is preferred.</li><li>Should be able to fulfil physical requirements (standing for long periods of time, working late, transport to and from several sites).</li></ul><p><br></p>Powered by JazzHR<p><br></p>HbVnjmEKya
