We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a

 

Multi Skilled Technician

 

Job Purpose:

 

To support all the discipline’s activities on site under the supervisor’s guidelines

 

Your main duties will be to: –

 

  • Support the operation and maintenance activities through all the disciplines: Electrical, mechanical, Instrumentation, HVAC… 
  •  Provide visible leadership
  •  Promote cost consciousness
  •  Ensure compliance with operating procedures and guidelines to ensure safety
  •  Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
  • Must have a proven sense of operational responsibility, courage to intervene and challenge
  •  Prepare isolate and make safe mechanical equipment for maintenance

Profile

Ideally, you will have graduated with minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical diploma from a recognized institution.

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.

You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
