Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE: Monitoring &amp; Handling the MTX Activities (Power, Installations, Expansions &amp; troubleshooting) and DC power stations operation &amp; Maintenance to maintain VFE MTXs running in healthy and economic conditions.<p><br></p>Valuing discipline in all aspects / Maturity.<p><br></p><ul><li> Lead by example in the availability/ reachability / attendance/ professional Ethics </li></ul><p><br></p>New installation and Acceptance<p><br></p><ul><li> guiding technology contractors in installation/ implementation processes inside the technical rooms </li><li> Ensure that all acceptance procedures had been done as per Vodafone standards </li><li> Ensure projects time plan is achieved </li><li> handling technical rooms access process and work orders </li><li> H&amp;S Auditing to the MTXs to insure rules are achieved </li><li> Handling day to day MTX activities</li></ul><p><br></p>Decision-making / Initiative / Motivation / Work Quality / Reliability / Security.<p><br></p><ul><li> Mentoring technicians to ensure high quality performance </li><li> Energy Management initiatives to meet VF strategy </li><li> Ensure resilient network </li><li> Decision maker and handling all field problems troubleshooting </li><li> Running the business in conformance with company security policies </li></ul><li></li><p><br></p>Maintenance Activity<p><br></p><ul><li> Supervising the maintenance process with high technicality to assure good performance &amp; network stability </li><li> Lead field team in troubleshooting infrastructure equipment different alarms </li><li> Ensure power availability/Redundancy for the nodes in the network </li><li> Evaluating the different vendors to assure best performance </li><li> handling the MTXs Stock and assure safe stock level </li></ul><p><br></p>Cost Effectiveness awareness.<p><br></p><ul><li> Generate innovative ideas for energy saving &amp; Go Green streams </li><li> PUE enhancement knowledge </li></ul><p><br></p>Technical / Professional Expertise<p><br></p><ul><li> BSc in Electrical Power Engineering </li><li> knowledge in electromechanical equipment</li><li> Experience in technical installation and standards</li><li> Technical proficiency of using various computer applications </li><li> Excellent Experience in Management systems </li><li> Excellent communication skills </li><li> Excellent analytical skills </li><li> Ability to organize and plan work schedule </li><li> Work under pressure and uncomfortable conditions</li></ul>
