Role purpose:
Today Vodafone serves over 5m small-office home-office (SOHO) and small to medium enterprise (SME) customers across Europe with a wide range of communications solutions. Vodafone aims to be the leading end-to-end digital champion for this segment and expands its product portfolio to a suite of technology offerings. That includes providing SME clients with a broad portfolio of Software as a Service (SaaS) tools and associated services to help them grow, run and secure their business.
The Digital Applications portfolio team plays a key role in accelerating growth of Vodafone’s SaaS business. Vodafone is partnering with leading SaaS and Tech companies such as Microsoft and Google to become a ‘one stop shop’ for SME digital tools, delivered through a global digital Marketplace. Current SaaS Products range from Productivity & Collaboration, Online Presence, Digital Marketing, CRM and Managed Services with other areas under evaluation.
The Global Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product strategy and managing all aspects of the product lifecycle (development, launch, in-life) for a collection of SaaS products. The role requires experience in launching products successfully, excellent organisational and relationship management skills, coupled with commercial and partnership skills. It will involve influencing internal stakeholders, external partners and other product portfolios and various Vodafone Business functions across local markets to ensure successful delivery.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
– Design, develop and launch SaaS offerings, including solutions that brings capabilities from other portfolios (eg, Connectivity, Security, Cloud)
– Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle
– Use customer, market, analyst, and sales insights to maintain and update a roadmap, ensuring products/services are relevant and competitive
– Ensure products/services deliver world-class customer experiences
– Work closely with Marketing, Go to Market, Sales, Finance, and other teams at Vodafone Global and in Operating Companies across markets to drive success
– Lead product specific engagements with key partners and vendors
– Manage performance of products, ensuring achievement of revenue and margin targets
