Job Description

Role purpose:
– Design and Engineer the solution based on Cloud technologies and Open Source components (Graphana, Kibana), CI/CD (Jenkins, JMeter).
– Design and Engineer the software for complying with state-of-the-art Cyber Security guidelines and requirements
– Design and Develop backend applications using technologies like JAVA, Python, etc. . Designing PoC as well as designing and developing integrations based on opensource components and APIs using CI/CD process (e.g. developing interfaces or protocol for automatic testing tools, developing automatic test scripts, etc)
– Design and develop new Charging products for new 5G Core innovative monetization streams.
– Analyse, together with the business demand areas, the needs, requirements and expectations for the definition and implementation of the different functionalities of commercial products
– Interact with COM SQUAD and Tribe, IT and Operations for design, delivery and troubleshooting
– Create technical designs, configuration builds and unit testing of tariff configurations for the charging service.
– Develop automatic test case with Behaviour Driven Language for each new product category and adaption of existing ones for existing products categories
– Provide technical support for all associated system testing and system integration testing for all tariff configuration.
– Tariff configurations includes all Vodafone’s products (Mobile prepaid and postpaid, Fixed, etc) across the Consumer & Enterprise business, for both new and existing configurations.
– Create a fit for purpose technical design solution to meet business needs and own the corresponding technical configuration, resource management, capacity management, technical release planning, system testing and /or quality assurance.
– Support incidents and contribute for incident resolution.
– Share technical expertise with the wider team.
– Configuration is updated on a regular basis using an Agile release model across Technology (NW, IT)
– StandBy and availability for supporting delivery extra time in case of planned releases during weekend or orvernight
– Work with all parts of the business, including partners, to ensure that planned configuration releases are delivered right first time every time.

Responsibilities:
– Design and deliver complex tariff designs, configuration builds and complete unit testing to meet business needs and marketing campaigns.
– Design solutions leveraging out of the box capabilities where possible (including PoC = Proof of Concept)
– Work with CCS Technology Vendor when new capabilities are required
– Lead design reviews and assurance activities throughout the design lifecycle ensuring compliance to design standards, domain roadmaps, and technical target designs throughout the development life cycle.
– Lead and assure design effort for technical demand, acting as a key sign-off of technical artefacts (Low Level Design, Migration Designs, Implementation & Test Approaches, Operational Support Handover, etc.)
– Be a Technical Point of Contact and functional and technical expert for tariff configuration supporting planned releases and incidents.
– Share tariff guidance within the CCS Engineering team and with Operation
– Interact with, plan and monitor technical efforts to support successful delivery of products.
– Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, teams and local operating company technology leads
– Provide high level estimates of cost and timescales for projects under early consideration, supporting the Domain lead in assuring and challenging technical scope.
– Comply with regulatory & security policies, procedures and processes.
