Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide<br><br><strong> Job Title </strong> : <strong> Methods – Tooling Engineer/Manager <br><br></strong><strong> Purpose of the job: <br></strong><ul><li> Manage the methods and manufacturing processes to optimize production QCD performance (organization of the work, tooling and processes). <br><br></li></ul>In this respect the person in charge complies with Ethics and Compliance policies<br><ul><li> Creation on Catia of drawings for specific tools. </li><li> Receipt of ordered tools. </li><li> Manage the internal and external calibration of tools. </li><li> Force of proposal for the improvement of tools and means of production. </li><li> Perform continuous improvement on production lines in order to increase QCD manufacturing productivity <br><br></li></ul><strong> Industrialization: <br></strong><ul><li> Propose, set up, and improve the manufacturing processes: workstations, tooling, industrialization rules, routings, assembly instructions </li><li> Set up and maintain the bookshop of times / methods library </li><li> Design and optimize the machines setting-up in workshops as well as the organization of every workstation </li><li> Support for continuous improvement of manufacturing lines </li><li> Participate in the design of machines and specific tooling equipment </li><li> Contribute to Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan </li><li> Qualify industrial means related to manufacturing, repairs and rework </li><li> Ensure the technology watch to evolve process and manufacturing means </li><li> Develop and insure the follow-up of the performance indicators of production tools and set up the associated action plans (predictive, preventive or curative actions) </li><li> Complies with EHS Alstom and external standards </li><li> Issue relevant documents in the Quality System </li><li> Ensure schedules, inputs and QCD targets are achieved </li><li> Manage overhead budget, CAPEX and investments related to new manufacturing equipment <br><br></li></ul><strong> Transmission: <br></strong><ul><li> Train the workers and EPU managers during design and industrialization phases </li><li> Ensure continuous training and permanent qualification of the workers <br><br></li></ul><strong> Execution / Serial manufacturing: <br></strong><ul><li> Guarantees internal control and good application of process rules in line with customers’ requirements </li><li> Insure the maintenance of the production equipment </li><li> Manage maintenance and control of active tools on site and at subcontractors </li><li> In case of non-conformity or incident, investigate root causes, finds and implement corrective solutions </li><li> Support Sourcing and Supplier Quality teams during quality crisis <br><br></li></ul><strong> Transverse: <br></strong><ul><li> Propose improvement ideas and evolution of the tooling on their domain <br><br></li></ul><strong> Key Job Authorities and Dimensions: <br></strong><ul><li> Tooling Engineer manages technicians that are eventually under his responsibility <br><br></li></ul><strong> Performance measurements: <br></strong><ul><li> Design for manufacturing rules: amount of deviations </li><li> OEE (Overall Equipment effectiveness) </li><li> Spent time Vs Methods time / Maintenance cost </li><li> FMR &amp; SMR Go On Time <br><br></li></ul><strong> Educational Requirements: <br><br></strong><strong> Mandatory <br><br></strong>Engineering degree in process engineering, electronics, electrical or mechanical domain<br><br><strong> Mandatory <br></strong><ul><li> 1 to 5 years’ experience in industrial method </li><li> Practice the concerned special process (execution, definition, qualification) </li><li> Would have to be trained to Alstom Special Process standard training <br><br></li></ul><strong>Competencies &amp; Skills<br></strong><ul><li> Autonomous, rigorous, good communication </li><li> Good teaching skills (able to provide training to a group of trainees) </li><li> Innovative, participative in business workgroups </li><li> Able to read, write and speak English</li></ul>
