Job Description

<p>We’re currently looking for an MEP (Electrical) Coordinator to join our Team in Dubai. The candidate&nbsp;will be the head of the MEP department and supervise progress work at construction sites including performing MEP engineering supervising construction and commissioning stages, and interacting with clients’ customers, consultants, and construction firms. The Engineer has to have Dubai experience and a minimum of 10 years of experience.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Responsibilities :</p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Review MEP contractor shop drawing prior to submittal for service coordination with other construction elements.</li><li>To advise on any impact on services caused by Architectural changes and raiseQuery to MEP Manager&amp;Consultant.</li><li>Review material/types of equipment technical submittals from MEP contractor for specification compliance&nbsp;</li><li>Produce equipements&amp;builder- work scope Schedule for all MEP equipment detailing construction and maintenance requirements for types of equipment</li><li>Review of method statements from MEP contractor with respect to installation works and logistics for equipment positioning.</li><li>To liaise with MEP Manager on matters seeking advice/requiring assistance.</li><li>To assist internally QS and Planning department for update MEP system progress.</li><li>Ensuring that services provisions clearance is provided in time for structure.</li><li>To provide technical advice to the construction team.</li><li>To oversee MEP service installation under the civil contractor scope of works.</li><li>Close inspection for MEP contractor installation works.</li><li>Carry out site walks and inspections for service installation, identifying poor quality elements and advise the construction team and MEP Manager.</li><li>Carry out inspection for MEP Contractor material along with QA/QC and Consultant.</li><li>Ensure that MEP site instructions/NCR are closed out.</li><li>To inspect concealed MEP service installation prior to closure of void /riser etc in conjunction with QA/QC and obtaining consultant sign-off.</li><li>Ensure that Company HSE policies are implemented at the site in coordination with the HSE department.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p><br></p><p>· Good conversational and written English.</p><p>· Good in communication and representation of our firm.</p><p>· Flexible.</p><p>· Willing to learn and contribute.</p><p>· Has Dubai experience.</p><p>· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized and accredited institution.</p><p>· Holder of TRAKHEES Yellow card will be an advantage.</p><p><br></p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Salary: competitive&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>If you are interested please send your CV’s to hr@ikhlasdb.ae</p>
