Mechanical Technician

Job Description

<p>To ensure the availability and functionality of mechanical equipment, corresponding to the objective of the contract, and to satisfy the O &amp; M team regarding solution implementation, safety, for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.</p><p><br></p><p>MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Responsible for the completion of mechanical preventive and corrective works as requested.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect mechanical systems, equipment and components, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.</li><li>Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical systems, equipment and components.</li><li>Any other related assignment required by management.</li><li>Perform any duties requested by Plant Manager or VeBes Management.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>HSE/QHSE</p><ul><li>Follow all EHS procedure.</li><li>Report to on line manager for any incidents and near misses involving employees and subcontractors.</li><li>Work under Permit To Work (PTW) when required.</li><li>Keep the work area in a safe and tidy condition.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>DOCUMENTATION-REPORT</p><ul><li>Organize equipment and tools for tasks to be done.</li><li>Take in consideration the priorities defined by the Engineer Team Leader.</li><li>Report about wear and tear condition of electrical equipment in the plant.</li><li>Report to stores-in-charge or log items used from the store for completion of work orders.</li><li>Report daily activity after completion of work (work report).</li></ul><p><br></p><p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p><ul><li>Effectively communicate with the reporting head.</li><li>Takes responsibility for all the work assigned.</li><li>Min 0-3&nbsp;years of experience in the relevant field.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Employment Type</p><p>Internship is a temporary work experience transferred to an Employment contract.</p><p><br></p><p>Department / Functional Area</p><ul><li>Engineering</li></ul><p><br></p>
