We are hiring immediately for a <strong>Service Technician – Mechanical </strong>– a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.<p><br></p><strong>Why Aggreko?</strong> Here are some of the perks and rewards.<p><br></p><ul><li>Full-time, Permanente position to be based in Egypt (Ras Gareb)</li><li>Competitive compensation</li><li>Annual bonus program tied to company and individual performance.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><strong>What you’ll do: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> To carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators</li><li> To carry out major maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators</li><li> To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits.</li><li> To carry out Aggreko ‘Health Checks’, interpret results and carry out required adjustments / repairs</li><li> To carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems</li><li> To carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for service crew.</li><li> To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics</li><li> Operate the Aggreko service mobility system</li><li> To operate, diagnose Aggreko generator controllers.</li><li> Issuing non- AC electrical ‘permit to work’. (LOTO)</li><li> Assisting with the installation and demobilization of Aggreko equipment.</li><li> To follow and comply with Aggreko QHSE standards</li><li> Adherence to 5S</li><li> Safety of self and others</li><li> Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety &amp; Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>+3 years minimum in similar role</li><li>Good Communication skills – must be able to complete reports legibly.</li><li>Effective troubleshooting capability.</li><li>Ability to read electrical drawings.</li><li>Possession of driving license essential.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment, but also on own initiative.</li><li>Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines.</li><li>Preference to candidates with AC &amp; DC Loadbank and HV experience.</li><li>Previous experience in GAS Engine is a plus.</li></ul><p><br></p>We recruit the best talent.
