We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of mechanical systems within various infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical systems and equipment.

Your new role, what’s involved?
* Lead the mechanical design and engineering activities for infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction support.
* Develop technical specifications, standards, and guidelines for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
* Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to determine the sizing, performance, and efficiency of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and utility systems.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and contractors, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
* Review and evaluate mechanical drawings, equipment submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
* Conduct site inspections and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
* Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to mechanical systems during the construction phase.
* Perform technical reviews of vendor proposals, equipment selections, and material submittals for mechanical systems.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technologies, materials, and equipment relevant to infrastructure projects.
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering their professional development.
