Job Description

<p>We are looking to hire a<strong> Mechanical Design Engineer</strong> who will be working on scanned files/mesh files and generate CAD models. Ensure technical efficiency and quality in the reverse engineering and re-designing of components based on standards and functional parts applications.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES </u></strong></p><p><strong>·</strong>&nbsp;Execute the reverse engineering, design release and certification requirements of mechanical components and assemblies </p><p>• <strong>Review designs </strong>for accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability</p><p>• <strong>Drafting engineering drawin</strong>g as per ASME Y14.5 &amp; company standards</p><p>• Ability to read and capture all theoretical input data required to<strong> generate the final 3D CAD model and engineering drawings of functional components</strong>. These data can include (3D scanned stl, dimensions, surface features, material, hardness, part application,..etc) </p><p>• Provide technical solutions for a wide range of tasks. </p><p>• <strong>Work independently</strong> to analyze, interpret, and translate source data into the product.</p><p>• <strong>Read and understand blueprints</strong>, tolerances, components manufacturing drawings </p><p>• Finalize parts CAD files and Engineering 2D drawings using 2D/3D CAD software </p><p>• Experienced in <strong>Geomagics Design X </strong>software, <strong>Solidworks</strong> software in order to be execute the designing process.</p><p>• <strong>Designing </strong>based on input data &amp; application requirements and defining tolerances based on fitment requirements to guide the product manufacturing process</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><p><span>• </span>Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical from a reputed university. </p><p>• 3-5 years of extensive experience in reverse engineering &amp; functional components CAD Design </p><p>• 3-5 years of extensive experience in dimensional measurements and drafting 2D manufacturing engineering drawings</p><p>• Basic knowledge of 3D manufacturing metal technologies.</p><p>• 3-5 years of experience with engineering and modelling software (SolidWorks, Geomagics DesignX) </p><p>• Skilled in reading and generating components manufacturing drawings.</p><p>• Problem solving skills to counter issues in advance. </p><p>• Organized and detail-oriented. </p><p>• Self-motivated, self-starter and fast learner able to take direction from multiple sources. </p><p>• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment with pressure and tight deadlines</p><p><span>• </span>Knowledgeable of laser 3D scanners</p><p><span>• </span>Ability to work on scanned files to finish and design functional parts.</p><p>• Good Knowledge of materials and mechanical properties </p><p>• Knowledgeable of the terminology of dimensional tolerance and surface fitment </p><p>• Knowledgeable of mechanical components CAD design related to rotating and static equipment categories of pumps, valves, compressors..etc </p><p>• Good knowledge of Manufacturing process: 3D Printing, Machining, testing, Fabrication, and Heat Treatment.</p>
