Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLC 

Mechanical Assistant Technician

Assisting Mechanical Technician in daily maintenance activity. Shall be able to perform minor mechanical repairs. Shall be familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment. Shall have technical awareness about static and rotating equipment. Piping experience is a considerable plus.  

Profile

Ideally you will have diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized University

Should have worked at least 3 years in oil and gas industry or with major utilities.

Preferred qualification is a mechanical trade certificate. Shall have good spoken skills in English. 

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
