Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To receive by phone and from directly by the CCP/PCC Operators, all failures from the line 3 (Stations, Rolling Stocks,
Workshop, etc.) and create service request on Maximo Workstation (MMS Management).
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• To ask the request category, the exact location, defining the asset and provide a description of the failure,
• To create Service Requests for all failures coming from stations, Workshops, CCP and PCP according to the severity,
• To ensure that all Service Requests are sent to the good unit system,
• To monitor the status of existing Service Requests (In progress, Resolved or Cancelled),
• To monitor the status of existing Work Order (Approved, Waiting on Material, In progress, Completed or Closed),
• To check if the Work order is closed according of the severity
➢ Serious: Immediate action is required (4 hours),
➢ Major: Do ASAP (Within 12 hours),
➢ Minor: Delegate (2 days).
• To call all Station Masters to know the real status of the safety equipment like AFC Gates, Escalators, Elevators, CCTV,
etc.
• To perform some Weekly, Monthly Yearly reports to the Maintenance Engineering and Maintenance Unit
• To analyse the number of failures per system
• To undertake any other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant mechanical/electrical certification.
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical malfunctions.
• Ability to use and calibrate various electrical, electronic, and mechanical test equipment or PC.
• Ability to follow a procedure or method statement and write simple technical reports
KNOWLEDGE:
• MS-Office
• EAM/MMIS such as Maximo
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2-year experience in a similar technical position
• Exposed to the railway environment.
