Job Description

<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>To ensure the required materials are available for production planning and keeping lowest possible material inventory.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Financial</strong></p><ul><li>Arrange with finance Dept. to assure activating their payment in time according the agreed payment term with them.</li><li>Arrange with bank procedures for clearing /payment import shipments or any other topic related to procurement process.</li><li>Achieving all capex purchasing requests coordinating with all the stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Customer</strong></p><ul><li>Follow up with for local deliveries to assure supplying material in time.</li><li>Follow up with foreign suppliers to assure supplying material in time.</li><li>Seeking to qualify new vendors, and keep develop current ones.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Internal Process</strong></p><ul><li>Arrange with shipping lines / shipping forwarders shipping process.</li><li>Arrange clearance process with customs broker agent.</li><li>Contributing in new projects which require procurement involving.</li><li>Do the needful about supplier’s evaluation.</li><li>Conducting and leading regular meetings with suppliers to discuss issues and improvement plans.</li><li>Achieving MRP (Material requirement plan) received from planning Department efficiently in time and best cost according procurement standard process.</li><li>Achieving all indirect material purchasing requests coordinating with requesting Department.</li><li>Solve all problems related to procurement process coordinating with related Departments whatever was the kind of problem and working to prevent such problems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Material planning &amp; purchasing.</li><li>Any graduation.</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain techniques is preferred.</li><li>Ability to work in fast paced and high intensity environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills are required.</li></ul>
