Every day, we aim to open many opportunities for you to develop your career on an international scale, promoting Customers First, Best performance &amp; True Collaboration – we are One DSV!</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>About The Position</u></strong></p><p>This position’s main purpose is to operate their assigned machine safely in all aspects of the packing process.</p><p><br></p><p>The Material Handler is responsible for:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Operating in a safe manner and monitor the packing lines in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Physically unloading and storing packing materials in the warehouse whenever required as well as preparing the same for subsequent consumption.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Performing silo washing and preventing contamination thereof by strictly adhering to related standard operating procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Taking sample from storage silos / packing lines whenever required and sending to the laboratory whenever required.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Logging all activities in the logbook and maintain smooth transition during shift change.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Assisting the forklift operator in shifting palletized goods within the workplace whenever required.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Disposing various wastes produced during the operation in accordance with applicable SHEQ procedures on waste disposal.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Maintaining good housekeeping at all times at the workplace.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Performing any other duties and tasks as and when assigned by the supervisor from time to time to meet business expectations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> To be successful in this role you will require the following:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>High School graduate.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.</li><li>Knowledge of local, regional and global industry laws and regulations.</li><li>Great interpersonal skills and a good team player.</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>
