<strong>Company Description</strong><p><br></p>Spinneys the leading supermarket retailer in the Middle East, with hypermarkets and supermarkets currently operating in Lebanon.<p><br></p>Spinneys was first established in 1924 by Arthur Spinneys in the suburbs of Alexandria Egypt, to provide consumers with a friendly shopping environment where they can find high quality fresh produce, groceries, and baked goods at a fair price.<p><br></p>Spinneys opened its doors to Lebanese shoppers in 1948 in the old Beirut Souks, and went on to expand its stores in Raouche, Verdun, Hamra and Jnah, to offer customers a convenient one-stop shopping experience.<p><br></p>Due to civil war happening in Lebanon at that time, Spinneys stopped their operations in 1976. However, they overcame these challenges, reopened their doors twenty-two years later, and pioneered the concept of hypermarkets in Lebanon in 1998 through a new flagship store in Dbayeh. As this success was tremendous, it led Spinneys to expand its branches and open additional stores across Lebanon once again.<p><br></p><strong>Job Description</strong><p><br></p><strong>Job Overview: </strong><p><br></p>The Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing the marketing activities.<p><br></p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Ensure proper implementation of GMRL Brands and various business marketing and communications strategies</li><li> Develop advertising and marketing tools including above the line and below the line materials based on the yearly marketing calendars</li><li> Develop promotional content material such as tactical flyers, seasonal brochures, and advertising campaigns</li><li> Organize and supervise occasional events in addition to other related public relations jobs</li><li> Responsible of press releases developments (with the help of the agency) and circulation</li><li> Contributing in the social media content development for GMRL brands</li><li> Insure proper implementation of in-house surveys and questionnaires</li><li> Manage all online and offline communication channels</li><li>Analyze and interpret sales figures, evaluate advertising and promotions campaign and digital flyers and conduct market surveys</li><li> Conduct daily media monitoring and developing competitive reports and analysis</li><li> Plan marketing activities related to the loyalty program of the brand such as double smiles days, extra smiles activities, supplier related events</li><li> Support the brand CRM tasks such as loyalty program, customers’ feedback, data mining, data analyzing, direct mailing and marketing</li><li> Manage the brand marketing and advertising budget and generate monthly A&amp;P reports</li><li> Submit the A&amp;P and other related reports to the concerned departments</li><li> Prepare advertising expenditure versus sales report on quarterly basis</li><li> Handle the social media performance report in coordination of the Digital Communications Manager</li><li> Handle the Advertising scene and competitor’s media review on quarterly basis in coordination of the Media Buying Unit</li><li> Interact and coordinate with the company’s business partners such as advertising agency, media buying unit, PR agency, production, and printing houses</li><li> Cooperate with other related departments such as commercial department, operations, and finance</li><li> Communicate directly with Happy &amp; Spinneys retail outlets to ensure proper implementation of promotions, branding, campaigns, launches and events</li><li> Coordinate directly with the company’s call center for inbound and outbound related issues</li><li> Manage the instore communications content such as POS materials, screens, and audio – Support other brands marketing team on similar related tasks when needed</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Between 1 and 2 years of experience in this field. </li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any related field</li></ul>
