Reporting to the Manager Marketing & Events, the Marketing Programs Specialist must possess the skills and expertise necessary to support the Marketing and Communications Directorate of the University and fully implementing UDST’s mission and vision.<p><br></p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities: </strong><p><br></p>This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will contribute to the delivery of effective marketing programs for UDST in line with established tasks, goals and timelines while adhering to the strategic objectives and vision of UDST.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the company’s brand and its products and services.<p><br></p>The incumbent will provide support in the implementation of the marketing plan to enhance UDST’s brand positioning and identify media outlets for campaigns.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will be able evaluate, select media vendors, through the procurement process and have the ability to work with video and photo companies to deliver different production projects.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will liaise with all media, legal and external materials providers, Colleges and non-academic business units to provide marketing support for new and existing departmental and program initiatives.<p><br></p>The incumbent will conduct market research find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends and identify event opportunities and generate interest and work with Business Units on marketing/promotion products.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will work with internal designers to create logos and brands and brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.<p><br></p>The incumbent will measure success of various marketing campaigns and conduct pre- and post event evaluations and reports.<p><br></p>The successful candidate will develop and create collaterals to promote UDST brand and its products and services, including brochures, customer newsletters and animation videos.<p><br></p>Responsibilities also include to analyze and support both category and cluster marketing plans to align with brand strategy and achieve annual operating plan goals.<p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><strong>Education and Certifications:</strong><p><br></p>Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field is required.<p><br></p><strong>Experience:</strong><p><br></p>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, or related field.<p><br></p><strong>Language:</strong><p><br></p>Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language is required.<p><br></p><strong>Other Required Skills:</strong><p><br></p>Innovative and self-motivated team player with a high standard of professional integrity. Strong background in digital marketing, good Knowledge of marketing, branding and media relations. A proactive can-do attitude to work and good time management is essential. Reliable and dependable with a desire to lead by example. Analytical thinking, effective problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of the organization is required to be successful in this role
