Marketing & Communications Project Manager
Job Description
<p>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Project Manager to join our team and oversee the planning and execution of a prestigious local event on a project basis. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the event from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline. The ideal candidate will be a marketing professional with events experience in the country, previous project management experience, strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1. Event Marketing & Communications Planning and Strategy:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to execute project marketing and communications strategy scope, objectives, and deliverables.</li><li>Develop comprehensive event build-up marketing plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.</li><li>Manage entire marketing & communications scope, including event website, CRM (emails), advertising (digital and OOH + potentially TV & Radio) and stakeholder communications.</li><li>Conduct research and make recommendations on event concepts, venues management (marketing team, press etc), and freelances/vendors/suppliers.</li><li>Coordinate with various teams and departments to ensure seamless event execution.</li><li>Monitor campaign performance, including key metrics, ROI and KPIs.</li><li>Implement tracking and analytics systems to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.</li></ul><p>2. Budgeting and Financial Management:</p><ul><li>Manage marketing and advertising budgets and closely monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Track invoices, payments, and financial records related to the event.</li></ul><p>3. Team Management and Coordination:</p><ul><li>Lead cross-functional teams, including Designer, Content Editors, Photographers, Videographers, Social Media Community Manager and Social Media Event Capture Specialist.</li><li>Assign tasks, set clear objectives, and provide guidance to team members.</li><li>Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.</li></ul><p>4. Event Logistics and Operations:</p><ul><li>Coordinate event marketing and communications setup, activation and technical requirements.</li><li>Oversee ticketing and attendee management data insights.</li></ul><p>5. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:</p><ul><li>Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.</li><li>Address any issues or challenges that arise during the event planning process or on-site.</li></ul><p>6. Evaluation and Reporting:</p><ul><li>Measure event success against predefined objectives and key performance indicators.</li><li>Gather feedback from participants, sponsors, and stakeholders post event.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive post-event reports.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>路 Proven experience as a Senior Marketing & Communications professional, Marketing Project Manager or Marketing Event Manager in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.</p><p>路 Evidence of ideating and executing successful marketing & communications campaigns and physical activations.</p><p>路 Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.</p><p>路 Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.</p><p>路 Proficiency in project management software and tools.</p><p>路 Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.</p><p>路 Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><p>路 Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.</p><p>路 Knowledge of event planning best practices and industry trends.</p><p>路 Must be based in Abu Dhabi for the duration of the project.</p><p>路 Ideally bilingual English & Arabic.</p><p>路 The role is a consultancy/freelance role. As such you must have your own visa.</p><p>路 The role is a mix of remote work, team meetings and client meetings which will involve travel to and from Abu Dhabi/Dubai.</p><p>路 The role requires that the consultant/freelancer provide their own equipment (including laptop, mobile and any technical equipment).</p><p><br></p><p>Join our team and take the lead in managing outstanding events that leave a lasting impact.
