<strong>Role Summary</strong><p><br></p>The purpose of Market Intelligence Lead is to work with Market Intelligence, data management and reporting within the commercial team. This would include market data gathering, data validation with other teams and customers plus support around optimization of data collection and storage.<p><br></p>Secondarily, supporting the Commercial functions with day-to-day pricing requests from customers as: pricing of services, coordination with operation for space and focal point for specific customers.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Handle, structure and analyze data, making information easily available for both the commercial team and remaining port organization </li><li> Work with operation and IT teams to ensure optimal data flow and information collection. </li><li> Handle pricing of General Cargo at the port basis established pricing guidelines / principles / government rules </li><li> Ensure pricing and activities are reflected/updated in invoicing systems </li><li> Participate if review of pricing structures and optimization of invoicing structure and systems. </li><li> Collaboration with other teams to ensure sales activities are aligned with operation and other terminal partners </li><li> Work with others in commercial and operation team around handling exceptions and ad-hoc shipments </li><li> Support commercial team with sales material </li><li> Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> University degree or experience from logistics industry. </li><li> Marine / Port qualification considered a plus </li><li> Minimum 5 years’ experience data management, pricing of services or logistic experience from general cargo/bulk/port industry </li><li> The position requires strong data management skills / experience essential </li><li> Structured and detailed orientated approach to tasks and analysis </li><li> Professional standard of knowledge for pricing and invoicing of services. </li><li> Mindset for incremental improvements </li><li> Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills </li><li> Experience dealing with customers in GCC </li><li> Previous experience from logistic and KSA is considered a plus </li><li> Have good command of both written and spoken English </li><li> Arabic is considered a plus</li></ul>
