Job Description

<p>Providing expertise and technical advice in all matters related to the design and implementation of marine projects, technical supervision of the preparation of studies, specifications and technical standards required for marine projects, technical supervision of the conclusion of contracts with contractors and consultants in charge of their implementation, in addition to supervising the work performed by specialists and engineers working in the same field in accordance with the specified plans and work programs.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Work on defining the objectives and strategy of the various marine projects implemented by the Department based on specialized studies and the directions of the Department in the implementation of marine projects in the Emirate of Dubai.</li><li>Technical supervision of the preparation of laws, regulations, policies, legislation, specifications, procedures, plans and programs for the implementation of marine projects and work to update and develop them based on changes and developments in the work.</li><li>Technical supervision of the audits and review of marine data and information collected through field surveys, inspection and monitoring of marine coasts, and ensuring the accuracy of their analysis and drawing the resulting conclusions.</li><li>Technical supervision of the stages of concluding contracts with contractors and consultants in charge of implementing projects, including the preparation, audit and drafting of contracts, in coordination with specialists, engineers and those concerned with contract and procurement management</li><li>Work on evaluating the methods of carrying out the work, ensuring that the materials used conform to the technical specifications, and that contractors and consultants comply with the terms of the agreements concluded with them, and monitor the implementation of subsequent maintenance programs during the warranty period and others.</li><li>Technical supervision of coordination operations with contractors, consultants and concerned organizational units in the department and the relevant official departments in all matters related to marine projects services assigned to supervise.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualification / Years of Experience</p><ul><li>Bachelor (15-18 years experience)</li></ul><p>Specialization</p><ul><li>Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering</li></ul>
