<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to join our team as a Marina Service Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of our marina operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Your expertise in marina services will play a crucial role in maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and optimizing the overall marina experience.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><em>Marina Operations Coordination:</em></p><ul><li>Coordinate and oversee daily marina operations, including boat slip assignments, reservations, fueling services, and dock management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment for customers and staff.</li><li>Monitor marina facilities, equipment, and supplies, and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.</li></ul><p><em>Customer Service and Support:</em></p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service to marina clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.</li><li>Assist customers with slip reservations, transient docking, fueling, and other marina services, ensuring a seamless experience.</li><li>Offer guidance and assistance to boaters, providing information about local attractions, navigational assistance, and marina amenities.</li></ul><p><em>Administrative Tasks:</em></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, reservations, transactions, and boat owner information using appropriate software or database systems.</li><li>Prepare invoices, rental agreements, and other necessary documentation for marina services.</li><li>Assist with financial management, including billing, collections, and reporting.</li></ul><p><em>Vendor and Supplier Management:</em></p><ul><li>Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products and services required for marina operations, such as fuel, maintenance, and repair services.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.</li><li>Monitor vendor performance, resolve any issues or disputes, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.</li></ul><p><em>Safety and Compliance:</em></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to marina operations, environmental standards, and boater safety.</li><li>Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards or risks.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to marina staff on safety procedures, emergency protocols, and customer service best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional education in maritime studies or related field is a plus.</li><li>Bilingual in English and Arabic (any additional language is a plus)</li><li>Proven experience working in a marina or boating industry in a coordination or similar role.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of marina operations, including slip assignments, reservations, fueling services, and maintenance.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries, complaints, and difficult situations professionally.</li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in using computer software and database systems for customer management and record keeping.</li><li>Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards in the boating industry.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, vendors, and suppliers.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you have a passion for marina services and a keen eye for operational excellence, we invite you to join our team as a Marina Service Coordinator.
