<p><strong>OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p>&gt;To set the world class maintenance strategy and execution plan to be applied to all operation areas in the plant. Manage the reliability function and its effective execution to maintain and improve the performance of all plant assets. Ensure bad actors to be identified and to be eliminated. Development and management execution of the reliability programs that will allow optimum uptime for the plants.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></p><p>&gt;Set Objectives, Goals, Actions and Measures (OGAM) for the department, sections and individual subordinates. Periodic review of the OGAM targets.</p><p>&gt;Develops annual department budget. Manage and monitor department costs according to the approved budget. Provide inputs for maintenance department budget.</p><p>&gt;Provides leadership in developing strong inter-departmental relationships at all levels of the organization. Establish solid partnering relationships with Maintenance and Production departments.</p><p>&gt;Caring for Safety of Manpower/Health/Environment &amp; Quality Management</p><p>&gt;Provides leadership and direction for the development and deployment of a world-class maintenance and reliability practices.</p><p>&gt;Ensures that reliability excellence is measured and improvement plans are implemented for the continuous improvement of reliability strategy and RCA.</p><p>&gt;Ensures that all chronic issues and bad actors affecting plant are treated on high priority and technical solutions are available to control them.</p><p>&gt;Monitors RCA strategy for reporting, classifying, investigating, analysing and developing corrective actions for all reliability, quality and other problems to prevent them from reoccurrence.</p><p>&gt;Monitor RCM, RBI and RIS key performance indicators &amp; suggest potential improvements to the RCA, RIS and RBI strategies. Periodic monitoring, review, corrective actions and improvement of all the Maintenance Strategy activities using the feedbacks from end users</p><p>&gt;Defines the scope of asset reliability methodologies and ensure that these are properly applied. Approves any changes to equipment maintenance strategy and procedures before implementation.</p><p>&gt;Responsible for selection and effective implementation of the tools for RCM, RBI, RIS and Root cause analysis methodologies applied for the improvement of asset reliability and performance.</p><p>&gt;Identify and select applicable KPIs for asset reliability measurement. If required, request Planning department for making additional KPIs giving details and justification</p><p>&gt;Take actions to inculcate the culture of Reliability among all levels of staff in all concerned departments. Suitable methods and training to be devised and used for this purpose</p><p>&gt;Ensure safety / MSHEM compliance by all staff of the departments</p><p> </p><p><strong>COMMUNICATIONS &amp; WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:</strong></p><p>&gt;This position reports directly to the Director, Reliability management. Principle contacts for this position include Maintenance Managers, Inspection Manager, Technical Managers, Production Manager and Operations Managers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE &amp; SKILLS:</strong></p><p><strong>Qualification: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience: </strong>Around 10 years of professional experience in Fertilizer, Chemical, Petrochemical or Oil Industry, including 4 years in a Supervisory position.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills: </strong></p><p>• Proficient supervision and communication skills.</p><p>• Proficient knowledge in Rotating Equipment.</p><p>• Good knowledge of Reliability Strategies RCM, RBI, RIS.</p><p>• Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.</p><p>• Computer Literate (MS Office applications)</p><p>• Good knowledge of Plant engineering and costs.</p><p>• Good report writing and presentations skills.</p><p>• Very good knowledge of English.</p><p></p>
