Manager (QAS Operations Control Centre)
Job Description
<p>Our client is seeking for a <strong>Manager to lead the QAS Operations Control department</strong> with agreed standards and financial targets. To provide leadership and management for the provision of services including but not limited to Operations Control and any other services as directed by QAS Management Provide direct leadership and management of the QAS OC Duty Managers, Operations Controllers and RMS Team. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key accountability includes, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p>• As a member of the Operations Control leadership team provide significant contribution in the identification and development of strategic plans to improve operations control performance and position QAS as an innovative, best practice ground handling agent. </p><p>• Constantly reviews the operation, utilities operational experience and real-time information in order to assess the situation, priorities, make informed decisions and escalate where appropriate. </p><p>• Conduct daily briefing to QAS Management in operations review meeting to update on QAS operations activates. </p><p>• Makes decisions based on facts and analysis (e.e. potential profit, cost-benefit, market conditions, return on investment). </p><p>• Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>• Executive Management experience required</p><p>• Must have worked for an airline that handles over 150-200 movements a day ( 500 at QAS ) </p><p>• Experience of leading, managing, inspiring and engaging a large multi-cultural workforce. </p><p>• Expert knowledge of ground handling operational procedures</p><p>• Ability to effectively communicate with clear, concise and consistent messages. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>25,000-32,000 QAR per month (depending on experience) </li><li>Company Accommodation or an Allowance</li><li>Transportation Allowance – 1,500 QAR</li><li>Full medical</li><li>1 annual flight per year</li><li>Unlimited ID50&ID 90 flights</li><li>Education allowance for up to 3 Children</li><li>30 Days Annual Leave per year</li><li>Buddy Pass flights</li><li>Discounts on Hotels, Restaurants, Leisure,Travel,Lifesyle,Retail</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Be part of an extraordinary story:</strong></p><p>Your skills.
