Summary: Join Emirates SkyCargo, a world-class air cargo carrier, focused on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. We’re looking for a Manager of Process, Planning, and Project Delivery to oversee SkyCargo’s express, courier and cargo development, ensuring our strategic vision aligns with the business interests. You’ll continuously improve our business practices and processes, manage resources and equipment, conduct financial analysis, and oversee facility and IT system development. In this role, you will: – Identify, recommend and implement industry best practice improvements to systems, processes and structures to ensure the operational effectiveness. Lead and support change processes in conjunction with strategic business plans. Lead and manage end-to-end business improvement projects from concept to implementation. – Develop strategic long-term express, courier and cargo resource plans while managing short-term tactical changes to ensure SkyCargo’s resources consistently meet changing operational requirements at all grade levels, including management of outsourced partners and relevant contract management. Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy while meeting the complex and dynamic manpower and equipment requirement and ensure wastage is minimized. – Advise and influence senior management on productivity and process improvement opportunities. Demonstrate potential benefits by completing financially sound business cases with measureable targets for all recommended changes and investments. – Liaise with the Performance Development team to keep up-to-date with corporate initiatives and take the lead in sharing findings, maintaining networks, and exchanging information and ideas regarding cost saving strategies being deployed within SkyCargo. Liaise with other support departments in all plans and strategies to ensure effective implementation and on-going management of agreed activities. – Develop and agree SkyCargo’s express, courier and cargo KPIs ensuring alignment with Corporate KPI’s. Initiate projects and identify resources to improve underperforming KPI’s. Monitor and regularly communicate with all business units actual performance against target. – Drive innovative solutions through team creativity and automated solution. Work with system users, IT systems team, cross-functional stakeholders across Emirates Group and external stakeholders to facilitate system integration and sharing of key information for process transparency and streamline decision making. – Support the management of all relevant IT system requirements for SkyCargo express operations and administration support units, including resource management, time and attendance, leave management, load planning, etc. Drive forward the automation of staff related services, ensuring maximum integration of all existing systems. – Accountable for the overall support of management, maintenance and monitoring of SkyCargo’s network projects. Provide project governance ensuring projects are executed according to plans and benefits are achieved. – Accountable for strategic facilities development and equipment planning to ensure express operations can handle forecasted volume through Dubai hub. This includes development studies with external consultants on the expansion, modification and redevelopment of Emirates Cargo facilities in Dubai. Work with all stakeholders to provide latest volume and peaking forecasts for accurate operational planning. – Work closely with Dubai Airports’ Engineering Project, Strategy, Cargo Logistics, and relevant government authorities to ensure that development at both airports are fit for express, courier and cargo operations purpose. This includes but not limited to facility sizing requirement, system concept design, and cargo handling procedures.
