<strong>Position: Manager Multi-Disciplinary Project Manager – Urban Planning </strong><p><br></p><strong> Reports to: </strong>Executive Director of Masterplanning<p><br></p><strong>Sector: NEOM Authority</strong><p><br></p><strong>Job Location: Sharma, KSA</strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose: </strong><p><br></p>The Neom Planning Authority is currently looking for experienced candidates to fill a Manager: Multi-disciplinary Expertise role to assist in the delivery of planning related projects across the Neom region.<p><br></p>The ideal candidate should be someone who has a combination of technical skills in strategic urban planning/development planning/engineering acumen in an implementation of a regional plan and master plan environment. The ideal candidate would have worked in a capacity with leading engineering and urban planning requirements in a planning authority environment or consultancy with a flair for technical subject matter in the field of urban planning/property development and management. Candidates should have between five to ten years’ experience in a relevant field but most of all be flexible to work on multiple engagements<p><br></p><strong> KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES &amp; ACTIVITIES </strong>:<p><br></p><ul><li> Onsite delivery of engagements</li><li> Development of technical input, tools and templates to support successful delivery of urban planning and management projects</li><li> Project Management in delivering quality deliverables on time and within budget and quality</li><li> Plan and conduct stakeholder engagement and presentations to clients</li><li> Support the Executive Director in the management of project risk</li><li> Run internal project management processes – Project Summary Reports</li><li> Support and contribute to development of Intellectual Property and Thought Leadership</li><li> Manage and mentor junior staff members</li><li> Leading workstreams / deliverables with oversight from Senior Management</li></ul><p><br></p><strong> BACKGROUND, SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS: </strong><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Experience:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Shall be degree qualified</li><li> Strong presentation skills – both in person and in the preparation of power point and in design</li><li> Experience in one or more of the Urban Planning Advisory competencies:</li></ul><p><br></p>City &amp; Regional Planning<p><br></p>Land Use Planning/ Transport Planning/ Infrastructure Planning<p><br></p>Engineering<p><br></p>Urban/municipal governance and regulatory frameworks<p><br></p>Development control and permitting process<p><br></p><strong>Qualifications And Experience.</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Five 15+ years of relevant experience in or urban planning or a similar position with transferable skills</li><li> Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and problem-solving skills</li><li> Planning and Organizational agility: Accurately scopes length and difficulty of projects, setting realistically aggressive objectives and goals.
