<strong><u>Job Description<br><br></u></strong><strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>We are currently recruiting for a manager to work within our Market Oversight department. The main function of this position will be to assist in the Company’s market surveillance and members monitoring processes. The position will involve working well as part of a team and also performing both daily tasks and project work.<br><br><strong><u>Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Preparation of standard daily reports analysing trading patterns and behaviour </li><li>Produce and issue routine enquiry correspondence to Member firms;</li><li>Review evidence relating to potential breaches of rules and regulations, assist with the production of Compliance Officer Reports/ARCC referrals and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the Exchange Rules</li><li>Assisting in the compilation of evidence for formal investigations </li><li>Present surveillance/investigation findings and reports to Compliance management</li><li>Produce Notice of Investigation correspondence</li><li>Advising Members and clients of Exchange Rules and Procedures as required</li><li>Respond to customer queries and handle formal communications from external Compliance Officers</li><li>Participate in departmental meetings</li><li>Consider Exchange risks, and develop/design controls to mitigate such risk (both current and horizon scanning)</li><li>Quality Assurance – review and identify potential improvements for commentary or process</li><li>Define Business Requirement Documents for technology development teams to enhance/create controls for Compliance</li><li>Data analysis for ad hoc projects <br></li></ul><strong><u>Knowledge And Experience<br></u></strong><ul><li>Educated to degree level or equivalent</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Excellent analytical skills</li><li>Numeracy</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to summarise and present work succinctly and accurately</li><li>Have a clear commitment to the team approach</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Ability to take initiative with ad-hoc project work</li><li>Ability to manage multiple investigations and projects simultaneously</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all Compliance toolsets and systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of commodity futures and options markets;</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of the ADGM Regulations and Rules (or equivalent regulatory regime) ;</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Oil market;</li><li>Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.</li><li>Awareness of the obligation as a Recognised Investment Exchange in ADGM</li><li>Periodically, project work related to Compliance’s infrastructure, interdepartmental collaboration and provision of information to internal and external sources require the manager to utilise his/her product and technical knowledge to deliver proficient and professional results<br></li></ul><strong>Schedule<br><br></strong>This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
