<p><strong>Mission/</strong> <strong>Core purpose of the Job</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of our IoT & 5G wholesale product strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our IoT wholesale business by identifying and developing new product opportunities, creating go-to-market plans, and working closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Performance Areas: </strong>Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA’s)</p><p><br></p><p>The Product Manager IoT & 5G portfolio will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:</p><ul><li><strong>Ideate, Identify and Launch an overall M2M & IoT Connectivity Product/Solution strategy which covers all IoT connectivity requirements and Use case.</strong></li><li>Determining market size and opportunities for growth for existing and new customers including the trade-offs between various product lines</li><li><strong>Ensure involvement in commercial activities and GTM, such as business development, sales meetings and planning, customer bid presentations, and special pricing.</strong></li><li><strong>Responsible for customer experience lifecycle for IoT & 5G portfolio</strong></li><li><strong>Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs to inform product development decisions</strong></li><li>Developing annual product roadmaps</li><li>Understanding market pricing and opportunities/risks to existing and new customers.</li><li>Prepare joint sales plans with the sales force</li><li>Defining the product value proposition</li><li><strong>Liaise with MARCOM in order to initiate marketing campaigns, create awareness, develop sales collateral and product documentation to promote IoT Connectivity solutions.</strong></li><li>Developing reasons why customers will buy this service. Also identify deficiencies with the service that must be corrected. Prioritize fixes and coordinate with Technology.</li><li>Lead cross functional teams in developing business cases to substantiate new initiatives related to the various product lines.</li><li><strong>Full Product life cycle management (training, certifications, Customer Experience improvement and driving technical and market strategic decisions).</strong></li><li>Making recommendations to reduce product costs</li><li>Bottom line results expected β growing the number of customers and the revenues for the managed product portfolio.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Requirements </strong>(Education, Experience and Competencies)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 4-year Academic Degree (BBA, Engineering/Computer Science)</li><li>Post graduate qualification MBA/Masters (Economics, Business Management, Data Science) preferred</li><li>Fluent in English.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 10 years functional experience in Telecommunications, Technology, or related B2B industry experience</li><li>Product Management experience required</li><li>Project Management experience preferred</li><li>Wholesale market knowledge, desirable</li><li>Knowledge about International IPX, IoT, Roaming and 4/5G Technology</li><li>Strong financial and analytical skills</li><li>Understanding of product and software development process</li><li>Effective public speaking</li><li>Negotiation skills</li><li>Good understanding of the telecommunication industry β especially wholesale carrier services is desirable</li><li>Excellent technology skills with strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups and filtering), PowerPoint, Word and Analytical skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to create a GTM strategy for wholesale IoT & 5G products basis βWhatβ & βWhenβ aspects focusing on sales and profitability growth</li><li>Techno-commercial knowledge of wholesale mobility IoT & 5G market, especially in IPX, signaling and roaming and the impact that changes in the environment will have on the business over the next 3 to 5 years</li><li>Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment</li><li>Ability to identify key issues in a situation and to think creatively and strategically in facing internal and external challenges</li><li>Techno-commercial knowledge of wholesale mobility IoT and IPX/Roaming market and the impact that changes in the environment will have on the business over the next 3 to 5 years</li><li>A working knowledge of business practices</li><li>Knowledge of personnel policies</li><li>Knowledge of risk management (a risk taker who carefully considers risk/reward) and business development</li><li>Strong computer literacy</li></ul>
