NEOM will be a hub for innovation, where established global businesses and emerging players can research, incubate, and commercialize groundbreaking technologies to accelerate human progress. </strong><p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose </strong><p><br></p>Responsible for the application of IFRS accounting policies as per Group direction across the Central function, Subsidiaries, Regions and Sectors<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Support the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure compliance of accounting policies </li><li> Provide IFRS consultation and support within the sectors/regions of NEOM to follow standards </li><li> Assist in the development of IFRS training materials and facilitate training within the department </li><li> Keep abreast of latest development in IFRS accounting standards and its application in NEOM accounting and financial reporting </li><li> Liaise within Financial Reporting & Control department and business units within the organization regarding IFRS compliance matters </li><li> Support the audit process and resolve any IFRS compliance issues </li><li> Researching accounting issues for IFRS compliance and identify the gaps and solutions in liaising with IFRS experts (internal and external) </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Requirements: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Experience with real estate, construction, or a similar company </li><li> Good knowledge of IFRS and its application is a must, consolidations experience is preferable </li><li> Expertise in financial reporting and control </li><li> Previous experience with SAP is a plus</li></ul>
